Wind in the Willows is a heartwarming, adventurous classic filled with memorable characters, humour and heart. This production is open to all ages and experience levels — from first-time performers to seasoned cast members.

About the Production

Based on Kenneth Grahame’s beloved story, Wind in the Willows follows the adventures of Mole, Rat, Badger and the unforgettable Mr Toad. From gentle riverbank scenes to bold escapades, this production celebrates:

  • Friendship and loyalty

  • Courage and personal growth

  • Storytelling, imagination and ensemble work

Our production is inclusive, ensemble-driven and supportive, with meaningful roles for all performers.

Audition Information

Auditions are friendly, structured and confidence-building.

Performers will:

  • Present a short monologue

  • Read from the script

  • Take part in simple character or movement exercises

🎭 A short monologue will be provided in advance, so performers can practise and arrive feeling prepared.

Auditions are used only to determine roles, not to exclude anyone.

Rehearsals & Performances

Weekly Rehearsals

  • Tuesdays: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

  • Saturdays: 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Rehearsals focus on:

  • Character development

  • Ensemble scenes

  • Blocking and staging

  • Building confidence and performance skills
